One in 70 Australians suffer from Coeliac disease with over 80% undiagnosed.

This has raised serious concerns with Coeliac Australia calling for more awareness to fund the much-needed research into the silent disease.

Olympic swimmer and Coeliac Australia Ambassador Brooke Hanson told Gary Hardgrave on 4BC Drive, 'unfortunately for me, like so many people out there that have coeliac disease, Christmas will not be the same.'

'This Christmas appeal is so close to my heart and I'm after everyone to dig deep because I'd love to find a cure,' she said.
