It was inevitable that the Omicron strain of COVID would turn up in the Unites States.  Sure enough - the first confirmed case is right here in the Bay Area.  It's a San Francisco resident, returning home from South Africa.  KCBS Radio's Kathy Novak Kathy tells Matt Pitman about her own, very recent experience with Omicron and travel out of South Africa.
