Honour is not based on a parent's performance, perfection, or whether they've always gotten it right. God's instruction to honour our father and mother is unconditional.One thing many of us overlook is this: The blessing attached to honour benefits the child, not the parent.We also talk about difficult family dynamics and why, in some cases, honour may look different. Sometimes, honour can be from a distance if closeness continually leads to dishonour.
