On Air with Brian Peel

On Air with Brian Peel & The Calling | Alex Band.

22 years after their last studio album, The Calling return with Before The World Turns To Dust — and for frontman Alex Band, this comeback is deeply personal. Diagnosed with Parkinson’s at just 30, Alex spent years fighting to regain his motor skills and wondering if he would ever perform or make music again. He fought back. Now he’s back where he belongs — making music, performing and leading The Calling into a brand-new chapter. With more than 10 million albums sold, billions of streams and Wherever You Will Go now passing 1 billion Spotify streams, the story continues. I caught up with Alex to talk about the new album, Dust, Parkinson’s, resilience, the incredible comeback and the fans who never gave up on The Calling.

On Air with Brian Peel + special guest, New York singer and songwriter Chris Garneau.

Chris' sixth album, In Reverse, is out now — a lush, cinematic collection exploring the end of a turbulent relationship and the quiet arrival of new love. It’s intimate, atmospheric, and deeply honest. Chris Garneau is with me to talk about the emotional reset behind it, and what it means to let life move forward.
