On Being Human Again

In this week’s from-the-heart episode I talk about:

* Why you may be feeling like life owes you (e.g. why you should be more successful by now or why you should be making more money)

* Why you can’t only want the feel good positive bits of success in order to grow

* Why it’s so important to seperate yourself external success (hint: you’ll always bit dependent on a hit of praise or “win”) and find it from within instead

How it's OKAY to change directions in your life.

I used to feel ashamed, embarrassed or even guilty when I had to change directions because I felt I had done something "wrong" and I should have known better from the start. Have you ever felt this way? In the episode, I talk about how I'm feeling called to change directions in terms of my YouTube videos and although it's not easy, I feel like it's the right thing to do for me.

Listening to your heart even when everyone offers different advice

I absolutely love learning from others, but I've learned it doesn't mean I need to take all advice so literally. All in all, my heart is the best compass for me.

It's OK to change your 'why'

The 'why' behind what I do in my personal and professional life is constantly evolving. I talk about how my 'why' has evolved, where it's at now and being OK with not knowing where it will evolve to next.

I’m sure you’ve all seen these types of Facebook ads at one point or another?

“How I made $100,000 in my first month of business”

“How I grew my business into 7-figures in under 12 months using these simple steps”

“How I went from being broke to wildly rich and successful”

At the end of 2016, it seemed like those types of social media posts and ads were following me around. I didn’t get how everyone seemed to be doing sooooo well with such ease. It started to make me feel small and like I was missing some crucial piece of the puzzle.

At other times, I just felt unlucky like people just liked them more and that’s why they were doing so well.

Have you ever felt like that?

Today I’m sharing another, from-the-heart, episode sharing several stories of times when I’ve felt envious as a result of comparing myself to others success. I jump around quite a bit in this episode but here are some highlights:

• I share how being triggered by envy can actually help shine light on exactly what you need to be doing more of

• I talk about a time when I reached out to someone who was a 7-figure empire building entrepreneur and how I found that making the decision not to invest my money with her was actually more empowering than anything

• I talk about how I had to turn to myself to grow my business rather than just handing over my power to someone else

• And finally, I share some of the behind-the-scenes reasons of why some entrepreneurs are super successful, super quickly. I share these because when I found out the “truth”, so much pressure was lifted off of me because I realized I hadn’t been comparing myself on an even playing field at all!

*My very own manifesting and law of attraction process which I am loving SO much more than anything in the past

*My book! I annouce that I'm writing a book and I use the example of writing my book (a dream I am manifesting) to explain how I use the law of attraction process

If you're a personal development junkie then this topic is probably nothing new to you, so you might even want to skip this week's video (I promised to never waste your time!).

On the other hand, if you've done little or no personal development before, then I highly recommend you grab a cup of tea and listen in.

Self-worth is a topic that is often tossed around...and something that for most of my life, I thought I had a lot of.

It's almost comical thinking back to learning about the "signs of low self worth". I remember listening to one of my teachers speak about them...and slowly and surely it seemed that I held nearly ALL behaviour and characteristic traits that resembled someone with low self-worth.

I was baffled because I actually thought that my way of being was "normal"...but it turns out that putting immense pressure on yourself, feeling guilty a lot and keeping busy 24/7 are just three common signs of someone with low self worth!
