Today’s episode, I talk all about On Demand Propane Hot Water Heaters. If you are planning to live odd grid or simi off grid then you will need a way to have hot water. There are a lot of ways to do this. Today I’m going to talk about the method I, and many others have chosen. Using a Propane On Demand Propane Hot Water Heaters.
I use the Eccotemp Luxé EL5 Portable Tankless Water Heater. In the past, I used the Ecotemp L5. When the L5 stopped working after 5 years, I went with the EL5. I wanted the digital thermostat on it to make sure the temperature wasn’t too hot for my daughter.
The main portion of the podcast today is only how to troubleshoot an on demand propane hot water heater. They can be finicky to get the temperature just right and I have some tips for you.
The biggest issue I’ve come across is something causing to slow down the water flow. That makes the water get really hot. I start with the easiest to get to spots then the harder to unclog areas.
