In Episode 34, CJ and Tanner are on location at the Police Conference of New York's Annual Seminar at the Turning Stone Resort in Verona New York. The Police Conference of New York (PCNY) is an umbrella organization that represents over 50,000 police officers throughout NYS. Member unions come from village, town, county, city, statewide and multi-state jurisdictional police jobs representing a unity of law enforcement unions. In this episode we hear from several union leaders from across NYS and NAPO (National Association of Police Organizations) to discuss the value of umbrella organizations and some of the local issues each individual president is addressing for his membership. We also hear from the NYS Comptroller, Tom DiNapoli, after he addressed all attendees about the status of the NYS Pension Fund.
