Lt. Colone Michael Pasquale, 89th Military Police Brigade Deputy Commanding Officer joins us to discuss the Fort Hood National Night Out on October 7th at Phantom Warrior Stadium and the 89th MP's role with supporting border security in Texas and the Southwest.

We're talking with CSM Apryl L. Williams of the 504th Expeditionary Military Intelligence Brigade about the upcoming Fort Hood Fight Night II: Return to the Ring event on September 12th and Fort Hood's Virtual Town Hall on September 25th to answer questions and address concerns regarding installation services.  CSM Williams also discusses ongoing support from the 504th Expeditionary Military Intelligence Brigade.

Colonel Justin M. Pritchard, 36th Engineer Brigade Commander at Fort Hood, joins us to discuss upcoming community engagment events including the Central Texas State Fair and PBR Challenger Series Military Appreciation Night August 28th-31st.  We'll also discuss the Fort Hood Fight Night: Return 2 The Ring event on post on September 12th along with duties and support provided by the 36th Engineer Brigade, including southwest border operations and equipment testing.

Col. Mark McClellan took command of U.S. Army Garrison – Fort Hood on July 11, 2025. Prior to that he served as the director of the Department of Tactics, Training, and Doctrine, Maneuver Center of Excellence, at Fort Benning, Georgia.
McClellan has held previous command and staff officer positions with the 4th Battalion, 64th Armored Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division; the Directorate of Admissions at West Point; the 4th Infantry Division and the 77th Armored Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division. He was also a professor of military science at New Mexico State University Army ROTC in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
McClellan has completed three combat deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (2003, 2005, 2007-08). He also deployed to Kuwait twice, once in support of  Operation Desert Spring (2002-2003) and once in support of Operation Spartan Shield (2015), as well as to the Republic of Korea (2018-2019).
He received his commission as an armor officer from the United States Military Academy with a Bachelor of Science in history in 2001. Additionally, he graduated from the Armor Officer Basic Course in 2002, the Infantry Captain’s Career Course in 2006, the Naval Postgraduate School with a Master of Business Administration in 2010, the Command and General Staff Officers Course in 2013, and the Air War College with a Master of Strategic Studies in 2023.
His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal with four oak leaf clusters, the Meritorious Service Medal with five oak leaf clusters, the Army Commendation Medal with V device and two oak leaf clusters, the Army Achievement Medal with one oak leaf cluster, and the Presidential Unit Citation. He has earned the Combat Action Badge.

Colonel Werner J. Barden is a native of Thomasville, GA.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Lee University, TN in 1993.  He commissioned into the United States Army in 1999 from North Georgia College where he received his Master's Degree in International Studies.  COL Barden received his Master of Strategic Studies degree from the United States Army War College in 2020.

Chief Master Sergeant William Picket was a Senior Enlisted Leader at the 9th Air Support Operations Squadron at Fort Hood, Texas. He served as a senior advisor to the Commander, providing oversight to organize, train, and equip personnel for integrating airpower effects. His responsibilities included leading 7 international operating locations in combat and ensuring personnel remained focused on their mission

Command Sgt. Maj. Joe E. Johnson Jr. assumed the responsibilities as command sergeant major of the U.S. Army Operational Test Command, Fort Hood, Texas.CSM Joe E. Johnson Jr. is a native of Elizabethtown, North Carolina, entering the Army in May 1996 as a Chemical Operations Specialist. COL LaHavie J. Brunson was born the son of SGM(R) Albert and Delphine Brunson, in Fayetteville, NC. He comes from a military family with two brothers who currently serve, and a sister-in-law and a brother-in-law who all have proudly served as officers in the United States Army. As a youth, he was heavily involved in academics and sports, and achieved the Eagle Scout rank. COL Brunson is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was commissioned as a 2LT in the Quartermaster Corps in 1998. COL Brunson's awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit (2nd Award), the Bronze Star Medal (2nd Award), the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (3rd Award), ARCOM (6th award), AAM (5th award), NDSM, Kosovo Campaign Medal, Iraq Campaign Service Medal, GWOT Expeditionary Medal, GWOT Service Medal, ASR, OSR, NATO Medal (Kosovo), and the MOVSM.
