Mexico's first round opponent was Trinidad and Tobago, it was the perfect game to start this tournament but things didn't go as planned. Chucky Lozano was pushed from the back and it caused him to go face first into the opponents goalkeeper's knees. He is doing fine now but will not play the rest of the tournament. A bad result and your best player is out is not how Mexico wanted to start the Gold Cup.
