The dudes welcome their first guest of the new season, Andrew of Masters Roofing in Memphis, TN to discuss this contracting social media guru and how he brought his game and company to the next level. The boys work this seasoned roofing vet for his experience and journey into a family business who knew little about the power of social media and its effects in both reach and community. Find out how to bring your networking to the next level as the tribe takes a moment to learn and pass on from this hunter who is doing nothing but killing it in the industry. Snuff out the smoke signals and get connected to a wider world of communication, it's time to join the tribe.
Being accountable for mistakes while on the hunt is just as important as being reliable for the successes in your kills. Just as important as looking for the "No's" to find the one "Yes" that brings your prey closer, assuring you take responsibility for a member of your tribe or yourself who trips up the group will provide an opportunity to grow and learn from mistakes instead of burying them in the bush. Roof Dudes stop the tribe in its tracks to address mistakes and the following actions that are appropriate before we dust if off, wash in the river, and come back, stronger than before, cleaner than ever, and ready to again hit the warpath with new knowledge and approaches to what was unforeseen missteps. Wash the mud off and start over hunters, or the game will smell your failures.
Roof Dudes tackle Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich and self-help in general as they continue to push through FSUF. The discussion leads to the reality of preconceived notions and how we apply them to a multitude of topics, those being Mormonism, Steven Spielberg, Auto-suggestion, Faith, politics, and the Corona Virus hysteria. Jerrod learns a common saying for the first time and Ryan learns of a new way to tug as the topic of music also stays a cornerstone of the tribe's being. Join us and let's explore our notions and intentions, preconceived or not, that may help or hinder your own hunt. Faith or belief? Which comes first? Let's chew on it.
The Dudes have a round table discussion discussing what they've coined FSUF. A simple conversation, though still an important one, listen in on what exactly FSUF is and how it can not only be applied to your now, but to your mindset going forward. Lifestyle, health, diet, serial killers, books, and Super Bowl halftime shows feature here and that's not all. This is an easy-breezy one tribe, pull up a chair and let's shoot the shit.
Season 2 is upon us and Roof Dudes is here to help plan your hunt for the new year and the new decade. The boys discuss change in laws, perseverance, outlook, and motivation as they separate the rule breakers from the trailblazers while adding emphasis on taking responsibility. The only person who can decide your destiny is you, and the dudes discuss the best ways to help your goals guide that destiny by taking it step by step. After all, how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. Sit down with us at the 2020 table and grab your knife and fork. It's time to dig in.
Before Roof Dudes kick off Season 2, listen to this special episode that focuses on Memento Mori, the ancient practice of reflection on our mortality. The boys break down the news of the downed helicopter that had Kobe Bryant, his daughter and 7 others on board. The tragedy reminds us all of our mortality and makes us question why high-profile passings like this cause us to remember we're mortal. Don't miss a sobering episode as we hunt for not only purpose but meaning in the wake of loss and tragedy. The tribe is taking lessons and giving them, are you listening?
Semper Paratus is the the call of the guardians that brave the perilous waters in the United States Coast Guard so others may live. The call is always on the mind of the courageous men and women, ‘Always Ready’ at their core. But sometimes being on the ready doesn’t mean you‘ll be fully prepared to witness true horror or tragedy. The boys break it down with Kevin, a ‘Coastie’ who battles with PTSD as a result of being a first responder, facing death, danger, and carnage for almost 2 decades. Join us as we hear the plea of this protector, for himself and others, to dig up what’s been buried and bring to light the warmth of healing from the cold embrace of neglect. You can’t hunt with a dull edge to your being and Kevin is just beginning to sharpen his back up. This guardian has sent his SOS, are you strong enough to do the same for yourself?
“He piled upon the whale’s white hump the sum of all the general rage and hate felt by his whole race from Adam down; and then, as if his chest had been a mortar, he burst his hot heart’s shell upon it.” The consequences of obsession have been told for generations. The boys break down the dark and unforgiving seas of obsession. Are you becoming the monomaniacal captain we all know so well, or is there still time to turn your ship to safe harbor, to lead your crew through dedication, and to leave your obsession to the deep? Join the hunt on the bedrock of dedication and leave the white whale behind.
‘De Oppresso Liber’. Fear comes in many forms, and when your motto is ‘To Free The Oppressed’ your ability to conquer fear becomes paramount. That’s what Andy, a true warrior, joined the hunt to discuss with the boys. A Green Beret that has to function at high levels in everything he does every day, Andy discusses how he grapples with his fear in training, preparation, and combat. The tribe is on the hunt as we encounter a true warrior who recounts, among other things, his very first encounter with ISIS in a firefight that taught him you can never be too prepared for a battle to the death. Fear is your warning. Grit is the answer. Join the warpath.
