On the Level Podcast

Settle down, relax and grab your controller of choice. Then press circle, triangle, triangle, up, circle to see Harry pull of his 'PANTS OF STEEL' finisher! If you'd rather not, of course, then have a listen to what we think about that old favourite 'beat 'em ups'.

Behemoths, giants, keepers of the coin. We can't ignore them because they aren't stopping! Time to talk about the publishing juggernaut that is EA. Is such a company as EA 'point lookout' at the top of the tree or are they chopping it down from under us? It's in the podcast.

Time for a big discussion. Team 'On the Level' is definitely split with its love towards the the big 'N', but does the dark side of Nintendo eat our souls or did we skip into a cartoon sunset with mushrooms and gold coins in abundance?

Dumb & dumber. Who is it; the gaming industry or the consumer? We know it's both but decide to discuss it anyway!

It's a tough one this week as we try and pin down what 'Adventure' is to each of us. With the so many genres available can we ultimately decide what it really means today?

"Space: the final frontier!"

"Well, drop us off here; we're only going as far as 2016"

What's on the horizon? Cats that talk to dogs, sideways escalators, a man on the moo... anyway, we're excited about the future of gaming as we bolt on our virtual reality headsets and talk 2016 in 4K resolution.

The good, the bad and the Simon. We look back over 2015 as it draws to a close and pick the best and worst that it had to offer. Turns out it was a pretty good year for videogames!

The gang put on their finest lederhosen and sail a hot air balloon to the Earth's core with nothing but a life sized dummy of Kenneth Williams made entirely of cheese. It was weird. And so is this podcast!

Is the Force too strong for us to handle? Will Harry resist joining Simon over on the Dark Side or will he strike him down with all of his hate? Star Wars videogames are discussed from this fully operational podcast!

It's finally here! We can rub our feral ghouls together with glee as we venture out into the dangerous world of horribly mutated animals, radiation sickness and plastic novelty bobbing figurines. Lets hope we don't fall out!
