  • Focus On Your Journey

In the episode this week is my conversation  with Mr. Ayebanoa Spiff!

Ayebanoa studied International Business and is a Marketing enthusiast based in Nigeria.

He was so done with the pressures of social media (and seeing people only stunting for the gram), that he decided to share a few posts featuring positive conversations between him and his people.

These conversations led to the birth of his phenomenal podcast titled: The Waka So Far: A platform that shares amazing peoples’ stories in the hope of inspiring others.

Keep up with Ayebanoa and all of the amazing conversations and positive vibes he puts out on IG @thewakasofar

  • Consistency is King (with Kobina deGraft-Johnson)

For the first time ever on the podcast, I am excited to share my first male guest interview with this Oscar Award Winning Film Maker, in the making, Mr. Kobina deGraft-Johnson.

Kobina worked as an Accountant at a top-tier NYC Accounting firm for 7 years when he realized something was missing. One evening at a happy hour event, someone asked if he could help take photos. These photos (taken with an iPhone 4) were so good that they sparked an interest in photography! This interest led to the creation of HIS VERY OWN MOVIE PRODUCTION COMPANY, Anibok Studios and his relocation back to Ghana.

In the episode Kobina talks about his journey, why Africa is the future and drops some encouraging words for aspiring artists and entrepreneurs along the way!

To keep up with all of his amazing projects, casting calls and his awesomeness please follow him on IG @anibokstudios

For this and everything, I’ll like to say THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am grateful to you. I don’t take you for granted. Your support means everything to me.

  • Self Kindness (with Vaneeta Kaur)

My guest on my podcast is Vaneeta Kaur.

Vaneeta is a creative writer, author, and emotional wellness advocate. As someone who deals with chronic pain due to a rare condition, self-care is an essential part of her daily life. Vaneeta was kind enough to share her experience with her condition and how that led to anxiety and depression at such a young age.

As a coping mechanism and emotional outlet, she started writing. At 17, she began her first novel Broken Branches and the sequel is due to release soon. The Silver Lining Series is a supernatural contemporary fictional romance that emphasizes gratefulness, love, forgiveness, happiness and so much more.

Through her creative writing on social media she encourages kindness, compassion, empathy, self-care, and wholeness. She also shares her own experiences from her emotional wellness journey.

I learned so much from our conversation, and I hope you tune in to do the same.

  • Experience the Pain - Healing after Infant/Pregnancy Loss

"In 1988, US President Ronald Reagan declared October as a month to recognize the unique grief of bereaved parents in an effort to demonstrate support to the many families who have suffered such a tragic loss." (starlegacyfoundation.org)

To commemorate this and bring awareness and support, I speak with a brave young woman who experienced this loss in the first year of her marriage. She is beautiful, inside and out. Strong, REAL, honest, brilliant and a powerful woman of God. Out of respect for her and her privacy, I will not reveal who she is.

In the episode this week, she (whom I refer to as "nne" throughout the conversation) shares the journey of her first pregnancy, her loss, her healing, and God, her husband & her family, and friends supported her all the way through.

If you have any questions about this episode, please feel free to reach out to me at [email protected] or on Instagram at @Onthematterr
