He's been involved in sports and fitness since he was a child, majored in nutrition and food science, worked at a hospital for three years as a diet technician, has been a personal fitness trainer and group trainer for four years, he is a registered dietitian and now has 13 years of overall experience in fitness and nutrition, and on this episode we dive in on the mix of fad diet, the difference between a nutritionist and a dietitian, and why you would need either one, auto immune disease, and so much more. What goes on in the mind of a preteen? What are they curious about and what can we learn from them?

On this episode of On the Mic with Joe Cee  I got the privilege to have my nine year old daughter as my guest. Getting curious with her and being aware of the things she's curious about was a great opportunity. She's witty, silly, smart and hilarious. Its possible grow apart from someone and still want the best for one another not only through words but through actions. From corporate America to barber/salon owner to now mayor of La Puente which is my hometown and where i met Gabriel back in Jr high. I got the privilege of picking Gabriels mind on topics like sexuality, community, famil, politics, how to mange grieving a loss and how to contribute to others going through it themselves. Gabriel has been a brand ambassador and educator for Johnny B hair care for over 15 years and has traveled all over the world contributing to students in the hair industry. He's owned his own barbershop/salon since 2007. He's currently the mayor of La Puente, CA and He's one of the most genuine souls I know. I had such a great time!
