On The Point

It's the Overwatch League Season 2 Stage 1 Week 5 recap! We talk playoff standings, predictions as to who we think is going to win it all (no prizes for guessing, as it's a bit of a coin flip and we both have a bias), in-depth discussions on potential Baptiste-inspired meta shakeups and changes coming to Stage 2, and some reminiscing over old Overwatch plays. We have good times with this game, y'all.

(Originally released on March 21, 2019)

We're going weekly (as much as we can), so let's talk Season 2, Stage 1, Week 4! We've got a recap of our predictions, along with a "batting average" thanks to CJ, as well as a postmortem of team performances and some of the wilder matches of the week, including Shanghai's matchup against Dallas and their map 5 victory over London, the Gladiators' surprising 4-0 over Atlanta, and the surprising map 5 that nobody was expecting to see between Vancouver and Chengdu. There's also a good amount of GOATS and meta talk, as well as some finals predictions, so tune in and let's chat Overwatch!

We're back, y'all! This was going to be a quick rundown, but when you have almost two dozen teams to talk about, there's really no such thing as "quick." But hey, we have fun! We also cover the Ellie controversy, Bastet, and the upcoming potential PTR changes.

It's a little bit of recap, a whole lot of community talk, and unbridled glee over A PINK TEAM this time around! We also go into publicity videos and memes, because really, that's half the fun of getting to know the teams.

Today's episode is a full-on recap of the Overwatch World Cup 2018 finals! We break down the highlights of the matches - and we each definitely have favorites - talk about the fact that the League really needs to discover colors that aren't red and blue, read off our Overwatch League wish lists, and demand that B.O.B. ...well, do something!

We're back! Today we talk about signings (there are a lot of them and there are about to be a whole lot more), the World Cup - including the USA vs Canada match, Bangkok highlights, and predictions for Paris - and ongoing support balance in Overwatch and how it changes the meta. It's all very news-heavy and all worth talking about. :D

Katie and CJ are back! We're talking about Overwatch League releases and signings: from London Spitfire keeping everyone to Shanghai Dragons and Florida Mayhem cutting nearly everyone, there's a lot of releases to talk about and strategies to theorize over! We also give our wish list regarding the eight new OWL teams confirmed and talk a bit about World Cup standings. The interview with FCTFCTN and Bani is here: https://youtu.be/RPGIIJUwqz0

NOTE: I had my schedule mixed up: the watch party is Saturday, but the USA/Canada match is on Sunday. Additionally, we finished recording this literal hours before the Valiant announced their release list, so that'll be covered next episode.

Thanks for listening!
