After recognizing September 11, 2001 - 25 years later - we thought it would be a good idea to review New York City Cops by The Strokes. Their debut album, Is This It, was released over seas in the summer of 2001, whereas the album didn't get released in the States till October 9, 2001 - without the song New York City Cops, which was swapped out for the song When It Started. So it is 25 years after the fact and we wanted to talk about the band and this particular song in the Modern Area of the 2020's. Please give us a listen to see how it went.

On the Record Jams! is back to talk about the band from El Paso Texas, At the Drive In. It's the year 2000, and Relationship to Command was supposed to take over the world. Unfortunately due to burn out and other variables, At The Drive placed their career on a long hiatus. Although their taste of the global spotlight was short - lived, the band's legacy is solidified by their powerful, raw stage presence, powerful recordings, and the break out single, One Armed Scissor.
