On today’s episode, I’m joined by Taylor Hui, she's the Founder of BeaYOUtiful Foundation & Founder and Executive Director of The Roster Clothing Co.
Taylor Hui is a philanthropist, positive body image advocate and social entrepreneurship at heart. She is the founder of BeaYOUtiful Foundation, a charitable organization that provides confidence classes, workshops, and conferences for young girls ages 8-14. In 2017 she also founded The Roster, a clothing line that provides everyday essentials for women to feel confident in. Partial proceeds from each sale, are donated back to BeaYOUtiful.
Taylor has been in the modeling and acting industry since 2012 and has worked internationally in over 6 countries in the fashion industry. She recently graduated from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia with a major in Communication and a minor in International Relations. In her spare time, you can find Taylor spending time with family, eating delicious food, getting some ice time on her figure skates and traveling to new cities.
On this Podcast, I had the pleasure to reconnect with Taylor and talk about her journey. Taylor was bullied growing up and constantly felt the pressure for women to act and be a certain way. By overcoming the challenges she faced, Taylor became passionate about empowering other women. She has dedicated all her time to help young girls gain self-confidence and navigate through the 21st century. Most importantly, we talk about the importance of having a community and how to create a safe environment for people to share their personal struggles and accomplishments without the fear of judgment.
