Drummer, composer and producer, Cerrone has always worn several hats.

In 1976, Cerrone composed his first album, “Love in C Minor”, the album was refused by most majors. He self produced 1000 copies in England which he distributed in Parisian shops. By chance a copy is sent to NYC and a DJ plays it in a club, soon it turns out to be a big success and the album ended up being played in all clubs around the world.

In 1977 Atlantic records in the U.S. signs “Love In C Minor” which tops the charts right away, 3 million copies are sold, his contribution to disco music genre is highly respected then.

“Supernature” was out in 1977, 8 million copies are sold. The Frenchman won 5 awards at the billboard music awards.

In 1991 for the showing of his new album in Tokyo 800,000 fans are gathering, it’s also the inauguration of the first HD TV channel in Japan, his concert is broadcasted live.
