Mothers’ Milk Bank Northeast is a non-profit, community-supported entity driven by the belief that every baby deserves the chance to thrive. They support family and community health and provide equitable access to safe, lifesaving pasteurized human donor milk.

The Mission of the New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV) is to equip Veterans who are facing or at-risk of homelessness with the tools for economic self-sufficiency and to provide them a path to achieve successful and dignified independent living.

A service and care provider for former military service men and women, the NECHV offers a broad array of programs and services that enable success, reintegration, meaningful employment and independent living.

Para Rowing Foundation (PRF) is a nonprofit dedicated to promoting inclusivity in rowing by expanding global opportunities and accessibility for individuals with disabilities. With an unwavering ‘can-do’ attitude, PRF supports those who are passionately interested in overcoming barriers in pursuit of their sport.

Gifts that Matter collaborates with local schools and social service organizations. Together, they seek out individuals and families in need during pivotal moments. Their mission goes beyond identifying; they uplift vulnerable children and teens. Providing them with enriching experiences and educational opportunities. Each program aims to elevate their lives and ignite their potential. 

The New England Center for Children (NECC) provides caring, comprehensive services to children with autism from 3 to 22 years old. Children at NECC have a broad range of ability levels. They consider each child’s unique learning style before developing a realistic plan to foster individual achievement, self-esteem, and personal independence.

They believe children with autism deserve the utmost respect and support as they work toward achieving greater independence. Children who are diagnosed early, receive intensive behavioral instruction, and receive top services based on the scientifically-proven principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA), have the best outcomes.

Project 351 believes that inside every young person is a brave, bold leader with dreams of a better world and the skill, passion, and creativity to achieve their vision. When called to serve, this generation responds with an urgency of now. Yet, too often, a young person’s desire to lead isn’t matched with requisite resources, mentors, and platforms. 

This untapped potential is our most precious resource and an extraordinary force for good.

Project 351 is determined to meet the demand for high quality, enriching service opportunities that respect and reflect the unique gifts and world changing aspirations of young people. And, to joyfully mobilize that abundance of talent and goodness to uplift, unite, and transform communities. 

The Project 351 began in 2011, when former Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick sought to celebrate his second inaugural with a focus on young people and community. The concept of Project 351, which had been developed by Carolyn Casey, reflected Governor Patrick’s belief in the Beloved Community and the unlimited potential of young people. His embrace led to the realization of Project 351 as a one-day celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., statewide unity, and youth leadership.

By day’s end, a movement of hope-in-action had been founded. And, with it, an invitation to serve and lead for eighth graders in each of Massachusetts' 351 cities and towns. From that day forward, Project 351 Ambassadors would unite the entire state as one team, one community in service to cause greater than self.

One year later, Governor Patrick convened the second Class of Ambassadors to celebrate Dr. King and kick-off a 12-month leadership journey. The mission of Project 351, as an independent, nonprofit youth leadership organization, had begun!

Since its early days as the Vietnam Era Veterans Outreach Center, the organization has expanded its services to support veterans of all eras. Renamed the Montachusett Veterans Outreach Center (MVOC) in 1988, and now based in Gardner, Massachusetts, it has grown into a nonprofit committed to providing comprehensive support for veterans and their families.

Communities for People offers a variety of programs and services in Massachusetts and Rhode Island with the primary goal of creating a continuum of care for the youth and families we serve. They constantly evaluate the quality of their programs to ensure that they are always improving ways to support youth and families and meet their changing needs.

The Pan-Mass Challenge is a Massachusetts-based bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country. Always held the first weekend in August, the PMC raises funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a world leader in adult and pediatric cancer treatment and research.

Save Our Sound’s mission is to secure permanent protection for Nantucket Sound by designating it as a National Historic Landmark. Nantucket Sound is the historic body of water that lies between Cape Cod and the islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. 

Formed in 2002 in response to a proposal to build a 25-square-mile wind energy project in the Sound. Save Our Sound and its 5,000+ supporters oppose the industrialization of Nantucket Sound due to conflicts inherent at that location. They are also concerned about diminished water quality, coastal erosion, habitat degradation, and other effects of climate change.  Supporters include environmentalists, chambers of commerce, fishermen, Native American tribes, ferry operators, airport commissions, business trade groups, municipalities, homeowners, and others.
