Lesson Summary

What does it really mean to be justified by grace, through faith?

In this lesson, we unpack saving faith—not as mere belief, but as trust in God’s promises fulfilled in Christ. Through Scripture, we see that justification is God’s courtroom declaration: sinners are counted righteous not by works, but by Christ’s righteousness credited to them. This “joyful exchange” frees us from guilt, reshapes how we see our past, and anchors our confidence for the future—even on the day of judgment.

Because Christ has borne our sin and given us His righteousness, we live not in fear or regret, but in peace—trusting His Word, receiving His gifts, and pressing forward in faith.
