God confirms his covenant with Abram. God changes his names and gives him the sign of circumcision. 

Sarai and Abram attempt to take God's plan into their own hands. Things do not go well, but God is a God who sees and takes care of the vulnerable. 

Abram despairs of every having a son of his own. God reassures Abram with amazing promises. Abram believes those promises and God makes a covenant with Abram. 

Lot is carried off into captivity when Sodom is raided. Abram rescues Lot and encounters two kings on his return from battle. 

The workers of Abram and his nephew, Lot, have a dispute because they're both getting too successful. Abram gives Lot the choice of where to settle, and Lot chooses to settle near Sodom. 

God calls Abram to himself and gives him amazing promises. Due to a famine, Abram takes his family to Egypt. 

The leaders in Jerusalem tell the people to stay in the city, but Ezekiel pronounces judgment upon them for their terrible advice. Even though many are in exile, God promises to bring them back to the land eventually and also promises a greater return, total renovation of the heart. 

God's glory is on the move. It eventually leaves the temple because of the people's sins. 

Ezekiel sees a vision of God's slaughtering all the people of Israel in Jerusalem. Only those who are marked out will be spared from judgment.
