Thinking about what I wanted to chat with you all this week, my heart was heavy on the fact that our fallen soldiers, that fought for OUR freedoms, only get "one" day of honor.  One day, that so many see as a day off off work, as a long weekend or as an excuse to BBQ and vacation.

In the meantime, we are nearing a month long celebration of "pride."  An entire month is dedicated to pride while only one day is in honor of the men and women who died serving out country.

I would rather have a whole month dedicated to the people who have lost their lives fighting for our freedom instead of having a month of celebrating your preference in the bedroom or what gender you "feel" like you are.
