Scott Rice (@elArroz_56) parlayed a breakout 2003 season in the Shorebirds bullpen into a pro career that spanned almost two decades. Rice takes us through his 18-year pro baseball odyssey, which culminated with a two-year major league stint with the New York Mets in 2013-14.

Right-hander Ruben Garcia (@guben_rarcia) closed out eight games in the second half of the Shorebirds' 2019 season. Months later, the Detroit Tigers selected him with the first pick in the minor league stage of the Rule 5 Draft.
