Two very different films, BlacKkKlansman and Belle, but a common thread: a journey into the past and the struggles of the African diaspora. Andri & Olivia discuss Spike Lee's newest success, and Amma Asante's attempt at telling a different story about Britain's past.

Episode #13: Who knew the combination of "Au Poste!" and "I Hired a Contract Killer" would be so volatile! Andri and Olivia have a very passionate discussion about which film actually is the nihilistic one.

Episode #12: In this episode Andri and Olivia discuss Catalan Film "Summer 1993" and "Slow West". Both of them - the films that is - are rather slow.

Episode #11: An episode dedicated to sports (films)! While the French football team has won the World Cup, „Comme des Garçons“ doesn’t nearly reach those heights. Meanwhile, „Match Point“ - which is peripherally about tennis - divides opinions.

Episode #10: This episode is dedicated to philosopher and film academic Stanley Cavell, who sadly passed away a short while ago. So we have rewatched classic "His Girl Friday" and re-read Cavell's musings on it. Also, Love, Simon.

Episode #9: Icelandic film "Under the Tree" turns out to be a bit of a disappointment, even though it made Olivia do the "Home Alone" face a few times. "Sorcerer", on the other hand, was a thrilling ride, once it finally got going. Even though there are no sorcerers anywhere.

Episode #8: An episode about the struggles of family life: Andri & Olivia discuss the horror of motherhood in "Tully" and the embarrassment of Dad jokes taken to the max in "Toni Erdmann".

Episode #7: Andri has finally returned from exile. In order to work through his trauma, Andri and Olivia discuss Wes Anderson's Film ISLE OF DOGS, which is about exiled dogs. For some more uplifting conversation, they then turn to the Disney masterpiece that is MULAN. "I'll make a man out of you" - maybe the greatest song ever written" - is stil stuck in their heads.

Episode #6: Andri has mysteriously disappeared, and in his stead a new host has risen (at least for this episode). Mansi (she's the new one) and Olivia discuss the absurd comedy of THE DEATH OF STALIN and the pretty surface of MARIE ANTOINETTE.

Episode #5: It's all about journalism: Andri & Olivia discuss the classic ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN, as well as its prequel 40 years in the making, THE POST.
