The Giants played as if they never knew the season started on September 10th. Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys had their way with the Offensive Line, moved the ball with ease, and showed their clear superiority over Big Blue.

The guys discuss some surprising cuts leading down to the 53-man roster. Players like Oshane Ximines and Tyree Phillips headline what remains the goal under Joe Schoen - turning over and improving the quality of depth across the roster.Wan'Dale Robinson also turned up as a surprise non-PUP list member, indicating he has the chance to prepare and play early in the season. The guys debate the long list of WR that have departed, the addition of Boogie Bashum from Buffalo and why getting attached to young talent like Jashuan Corbin is a losing endeavor.

Isaiah Simmons is a former top 10 pick that never put it all together in Arizona. A freak athlete who was pigeon-holed to LB in his rookie season, expand into a coverage roll the past two years with mixed results.

At 6'4" 238 pounds, running a 4.39 do time, Simmons could provide Wink Martindale the defensive weapon needed to take on pass-catching TE's and get after the QB out of nickle packages.

Wink Martindale gave the nod to Micah McFadden at ILB and that has the guys wondering - is this a reward for the second year player, inspiration for Darian Beavers to step up, or something in between. Regardless of the reasons, Adam insists that Beavers, still recovery from a season long injury, is the right answer at ILB.

Giants first preseason game will give the first clarifying sample size for Big Blue and live game action! While NFL preseason does not have the same high value it once did, for several key positions this is an opportunity to showcase their value on the roster.

Adam at a high level would love to see a few quality reps from starters like Paris Campbell and Darrian Beavers. Moving into the depth battles Andy whats the entire secondary, especially Rodarius Williams, and Darnay Holmes to prove(good or bad) where they stand.

The Offensive Line has question marks as well across the Guard positions and with a need for solidified depth.

It may be "just a preseason game" but it is the next step in moving to the 53-man roster and the regular season!
