The season is officially underway and with the Denver Broncos looming in week 1, the guys take one last look at what concerns they have heading into the regular season. Big Blue cut down to 53 on Tuesday and Sam Beal shocked the world by making the cut! Before that, the Giants made moves to acquire multiple IOL to sure up the depth. Andy loves it, but also wonders if OT should have been the bigger priority.

On the waiver wire, Adam highlights the three names coming in and how Quincy Roche, Juston Hilliard and Collin Johnson were all on OGP's radar heading into the draft.

The 53 is set... for now - and the guys take a deep breath and realize the offseason is a long and winding path to meaningful football.

This was not the dress rehearsal Giants fans hoped for. The guys discuss the surprising start of Nate Solder at right tackle and what that means, if anything, for Matt Pearts future. Andrew Thomas all struggled bringing Adam dangerously close to the edge on Dave Gettleman's roster construction.

Daniel Jones gave Giants fans exactly what we wanted: high completion percentage, mobility outside the pocket and down field accuracy on a 23 yard touchdown to Kaden Smith. He also through an interception on the goal line, just to keep us on our toes.

Beyond the concerns, BJ Hill did not play in the finale making Andy wonder what that could indicate for the 53 man roster. David Sills and CJ Board have earned their roster spots, but what will become of Pettis and Ross? And could Adam have been right all along that Gary Brightwell can make the opening day roster?

Saquon Barkley continues to work his way back from injury, and while Joe Judge preaches patience Andy believes the stud running back will be a full go for week 1.

Joint practices with the Patriots have brought praise for Jones, Mac Jones that is. The guys discuss how much to take away from these reports, while Adam takes a strong stand on who starts the season under center for New England.

Carter Coughlin led a group of standouts who put solid reps on film. Unfortunately Matt Peart, among others, gave reason for pause throughout the preseason tilt with the New York Jets.

Some players are up to be cut as the Giants move from 90 to 85 by Tuesday, and with backup QB and Offensive line depth in need, a few more spots may shake loose as NFL teams make tough decisions.

While it is only the first preseason game, Adam is already willing to make bold predictions on a number of Giants deserving of roster spots!
