There is no shortage of great names out there attached to the open General Manager position for the New York Giants. Andy updates the current crop of names who have interviewed, and those scheduled over the weekend, and pulls on the coaching thread that may be tied to the incoming GM.

New names on the list among others include Adrian Wilson and Quinton Harris, long time Raven Joe Hortiz and OGP favorite Adam Peters from the 49ers.  On the coaching side, Adam highlights Mike McDaniel of the 49ers, a young mind with a unique approach, and then asks if Andy would have reservations around familiar manes like Leslie Fraizer and Wink Martindale.

Adam also surprises Andy with a recently fired coach who has a long and impressive resume, with ties to many GM candidates, who would be a valued voice on the incoming staff.

The life long Big Blue fans gets into it with Adam on trading for Russel Wilson, and being right on Dexter Lawrence. Andy highlights general manager candidates and the trio discuss potential Brian Flores and Adam Peters connection. Andy wants trade backs, and wants Shepard to stay, and in the end Candace just wants John Mara to have his head on straight and fix this franchise! an absolute highlight episode to kick off the offseason!

In the case of Adam Peters, not only does fellow 49ers candidate Ran Carthon have ties to Big Blue, but Andy pulls the threads of history to uncover a connection that could bring the entire front office and coaching staff into to view! 

Addtional candidates like Baltimore Ravens Joe Horitz and Kansas City Chiefs Ryan poles provide long standing success within single organizations, that gives Adam some "chicken or the egg" pause while still having clear excitement that John Mara and Steve Tisch are compiling an exciting interview list to guide this stories franchise back to success!

Adam comes in with an update on the New York Giants general manage research. Gettleman is gone, and the Giants now look to move forward as a franchise. While Joe Judge has not been fired, there is a clear sentiment that the incoming GM will have full autonomy on the coaching staff. Bills assistant GM Joe Schoen, Titans VP of player personnel Ryan Cowden and Titans director of player personnel Monti Ossenfort are among top interview requests.

The guys are back in talking the whimper that was the season finale at home and what the heck Joe Judge was doing with some of his play calling. After a brief look at another head coaching blunder, Adam updates the draft board, and reminding fans it will be a rebuild not a splashy trade that saves this franchise. Andy then offers up his stance on Black Monday as the guys discuss what may already be missed opportunities for John Mara to point his beloved franchise in a brighter direction.

The 2021-22 season is coming to an end, but with one more divisional game to go the guys have plenty to discuss. Washington represents a team that was supposed to be in the same boat as Big Blue yet feels like an organization with a much brighter future at the moment.

After getting Andy's take on Joe Judge and recent draft hits, Adam brings up a newly extended offensive lineman which further highlighting the Giants spending blunders. Adam also brings up several Washington players who could be worth watching as they hit free agency and the Giants prepare to bargain shop.

Finally, Andy can't believe the betting line for this game with the Giants heavy dogs at home, but calls for the Giants to resist the urge to "go all out" in the finale, knowing the long term injury risks you run to prove a meaningless point.

Joe Judge sees the writing on the wall. Few coaches survive bad runs like these, especially with organizational overall looming. Adam discusses the big takeaways from the post game press conference, including James Bradberry's calculated responses as the defense tries to fight through offensive ineptitude.

Saquon Barkley had his most consistent game this season, cracking the 100 yard mark while averaging 4.9 yards per carry. Should this be a reason for optimism going forward? Finally Adam poses the question as to the value of accumulating assets when top tier talent reigns supreme.

Giants fans clamored for Jake Fromm to play, and just as quickly demanded his benching. Proof is in the pudding for why players have or have not seen more playing time for Big Blue. Wether it is a practice squad QB or a once promising tackle in Matt Peart(now injured), it is clear the Giants organization continues to fail in scouting and adding talent to this roster.

John Mara committed to Joe Judge next season prior to the 34-10 lose to the Eagles. The guys discuss if this past weekend should change Mara's mind, who should be immune from blame, and if this is officially rock bottom for the Giants.
