  • Next man up mentality and the Darius Slayton revival
Saquon Barkley, while sustaining a shoulder injury still provided a couple of MVP level moments for Big Blue, while also having Matt Brieda and Gary Brightwell help carry to load at times.
The script has often looked the same for the Giants- get down early, stay the course, make adjustments and out chess the opposition.

  • The Coaching Impact: Brian Daboll chess king
The script has often looked the same for the Giants- get down early, stay the course, make adjustments and out chess the opposition.
The defense shutout Aaron Rodgers in the second half. More injuries were sustained but when it mattered most players like Xavier McKinney and Kayvon Thibodeaux stepped up. Shaun is now ready to fully commit to a 10 win team while Paul will wait with bated breath to see if this game goes down as benchmark moment in the Joe Schoen/Brian Daboll era.

  • London Bound! New York Giants head across the pond for a battle with the Green Bay Packers
Shaun Morash and Paul Dottino are in the break down the week five matchup for Big Blue! As the team prepares for the Sunday tilt, the breaking news of the day is the return of Landon Collins to Big Blue. Paul discusses how Wink may look to use the veteran safety. possibly in the hybrid Linebacker role.
Among the injury updates that may or may not bring reinforcements to the wideout room, did bring the wonderful return of Nick Gates to the practice field. After recovery from a brutal leg injury, Gates is not only a well respected member of the locker room, he also might be someone who can help improve the interior offensive line play(eventually).
After a brief intermission the One Giant Step hosts conclude with some VERY positive Daniel Jones reports! The Giants QB may not be 100% healthy but there is real optimism that Jones will be able to start on Sunday. Shaun and Paul discuss the somewhat surprising news, what the expectations should be for Sunday and if they see a Big Blue victory party returning home from London!

  • Giants Victory Monday: Big Blue grinds out another win, improve to 3-1
Shaun Morash and Paul Dottino are talking another Big Blue win, this time 20-12 over the Chicago Bears at home on Sunday in MetLife Stadium. For a team that came in hobbled by injuries the theme remains being a versatile coaching staff capable of finding new ways to get the job done.
Offensively it will alway start with Saquon Barkley who ran for a career high 31 times(and a few under center), but Mike Kafka took Daniel Jones on repeated naked bootlegs which worked to the tune of 58 rushing yards and two touchdowns. The offensive line bounce back in this one and held up enough to give the Giants some winning opportunities. The hosts discuss the obvious injury concerns for both Daniel Jones and Tyrod Taylor and what that could mean for the London match up ahead.
Defensively Tae Crowder gave arguably his best performance as Giant, but was not alone in the "step up" category - Dexter Lawrence was a force in the middle, and Paul also highlights Jaylon Smith who made his presence known.
With another set of injuries to key starters, and some rumored returning Giants, this week was the perfect 2022 Giants sample: a grind out win, a roster in flux and a fanbase elated to talk about wins!
