One Headlight 90s Podcast

If you grew up in the 90s like me, you probably had some of these toys.  Maybe all of them.  He-Man, Transformers, GI Joe and others certainly took creative liberty when coming up with names of their characters, and this list here is the most inappropriate of the best.

If you had any of these, send me a tweet @1HLPodcast and I will give you a shout out on the next episode.

Also, make sure you hit subscribe to this podcast to make sure you get all updates about 90s goodness.  Also, if you could leave me a 5 star review that would be ever so greatly appreciated.

Our good friend Dena is running in the Chicago marathon so JD (@db3rdand11) and I decided to put our brains together and come up with some good 90s running mixes for her on Spotify.

Here are the mixes we put together:

JD's Running Playlist:  https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5Buj85wAMBz7VAJhFbdSXN

Drew's 1HL Podcast Running Mix:  https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3W27CNcajGBOqMlY4UbNud

Good luck Dena and hopefully this episode and playlists will get everyone off the couch and running to some great 90s tunes!

In honor of seeing one of my favorite bands live for the first time, I am dedicating this episode to the first studio release from Hootie and the Blowfish, Cracked Rear View.  I highly recommend this album and please, let's start giving Hootie their fair credit.

Join Carmelita Valdez McKoy (@Carmelitasays) and me as we wrap up our trip down 90s memory lane and discuss our top 5 favorite guilty pleasure 90s movies.  Much is discussed on this episode such as Gordon Bombay is still a dick, Carmelita might have thrown her hat in the ring to be the President and CEO of the Nicolas Cage fanclub, and I quote way too many lines from Ace Ventura in real life.

I am again joined by Carmelita Valdez McKoy as we crack into our top ten 90s guilty pleasure movies.  We cover off on picks 10 through 6 and discuss several key things such as:

The OJ Chase vs. The Chase

Jean-Claude Van Damme's hair

Richard Dean Anderson is a Saint

Steeeeve Perry

Enjoy!

Join Carmelita Valdez McKoy (@Carmelitasays) and me as we take a trip down 90s memory lane and discuss some of our favorite guilty pleasure 90s movies.  Much is discussed on this episode such as Harrison Ford and Dan Aykroyd being declared national treasures and Drew's love for movies with fast cars.  Also we discuss how Gordon Bombay is probably the worst coach ever.  Seriously, he sucks.

In this captivating 90s episode we talk about what video games we would turn into movies.  I am joined by Big D from Shat the Movies as well as Crystal Fisher from the Eat Life podcast as we put our minds together to give Hollywood some great ideas, which we will totally write the screenplays for.

Besides talking about our favorite video games from the 80s and 90s we also talk about why Disney feels the need to make adults cry and question their lives, conspiracy theories to Home Alone, Frozen and Toy Story, and we also sing the intermission song.  Lots of great stuff here.

Don't forget to leave a 5 star review (pretty please!)

Also, don't forget to check out Crystal's Eat Life Podcast.  It's good, trust me!!
