The last 2 decades have seen a transformation in the health and wellbeing of older people, so much that the term “ageing” has given way to “longevity” focusing on the opportunities to extend the quantity and quality of human life. Healthtech has led the way with advances in technologies that support longevity, and Tina Woods has been at the forefront, setting up an All-Party Parliamentary Group to explore and promote opportunities and establishing Longevity International as a platform for research, debate and communication.
