One heart

Listen Later

One heart

Say I’m sounding like a total jerk, ranting like a lunatic,

I lose my composure you can’t take no more

Once you get coffee to perk, better take it from the burner

quick, it boils over before you can pour

Clean it up fast before it can burn, grab a couple of mugs, time

to sip away at the chasm we created

Here’s a lesson to learn, kissing tears, sharing hugs, pump

some air into the lungs of the love we deflated

Baby that highway calls us to ride, down love street onto

the freeway of desire, straight through till dawn

Quell the hunger screaming inside, Niagara Falls couldn’t douse

the fire, you and I embracing till it’s gone

Our love rolls on like tires steel belted, over angry words

and missed calls, through too many days apart

Passionate lovers naked bodies melted, every wall between us

crumbles and falls, we beat strongly as one heart

Strongly as one heart
