Publisher's Summary:
Kyle Fasano has it all: a loving wife, two children, and a house on the hill. Still, for one night it's not enough. Risking everything, he has a fling with a woman from the office. He knows better, but she offers a simple temptation.
Napoleon Villa has very little: no real family, no real home. A veteran detective for the LAPD, he is a gray wolf in an ever-darkening world. When the call comes in that a young woman has plummeted to her death at the Los Angeles Hilton, it seems like just another case.
Both men are running from something, and both are on a collision course. Fleeing his affair at the Hilton, Kyle runs into a stranger dressed in gray and possessed of heavenly powers. He tells Kyle something he never expected to hear: to save his soul, Kyle must prevent his first love - whom he hasn't seen in over 20 years - from making the same mistake he has. For Napoleon, it all comes down to a case long closed but forever open in his mind: that of a child murderer he failed to stop in time.
Now, pursued by a detective with nothing to lose, Kyle Fasano, with everything to lose, is about to learn that with every choice there are consequences. And sometimes there can be hell to pay - literally.

Thrills, Chills, and Supernatural Forces at Work
4.5 stars. This thriller is an equal opportunity offender. If you are Christian, and vulgar language and occasional sexual situations get your panties in a twist, this is not the right book for you. If you are a secular person who can't stand themes of love, spirituality, and redemption mixed in with gritty, fast-paced action, this is not the right book for you.
But if you are open to an exciting story, told well, with considerable Proustian reflection, you'll enjoy this book. Disclaimer: I'm personally acquainted with the author and saw early drafts of the work. I still think it's an excellent read, and I don't say that about every book written by my friends. Note: this book ends in a cliffhanger, so if you are dying to know how it ends, you'll have to read the other two.
The Monsters Within.
"A Strange Brew," Kirkus Reviews call this, and it is, but a very entertaining one. The first chapter set the stage, and the book just kept charging along to its somehow inevitable but completely unexpected ending. A real fast read with finely-drawn characters and an intriguing story-line. This is the first in a series. It'll be interesting to see what happens next.
Good vs Evil tale
A man has his life changed forever by committing adultry. On the run, he is confronted by angels and demons. He has been given the task of trying to save one soul. It is a captivating read that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Different, but in a good way
I could not put this down. I cannot give too much because it will either mimic the description or give a spoiler. It is an edge of your seat ride that will keep you up at night and leave you unsettled until the last page of the last book.

A well-written story with plenty of suspense and very well developed characters. This is a well-paced thriller that keeps you guessing and pages turning until the very last page. I look forward to reading more from this author.
