With the first Resurrection Sunday according to scripture, Jesus claimed complete victory over sin and death. His resurrection paid the wages of sin in full that we may be brought from darkness into light. Jesus rose for all, so we can have life.

When we think about companionship set for life, most would instinctively think of their spouse or lifelong friends. God originally designed life to be relational with Man and Him. The Holy Spirit is key to unlocking companionship with our Creator.

The call of God will always come with His promises, but at a cost. God is not after what we offer, but rather our willingness to pursue Him wholeheartedly. His cares are on our future, but you must respond to His call. Obedience to Him is the key.

We all experience the highs and lows of life and pond on rare moments we claim as coincidence. There are no coincidences when it comes to God, especially when you permit Him to work. Sometimes, all we need is our obedience to let go and let God.

Evangelism. Who and what immediately pops up into your head? As people of God, we pride ourselves in declaring Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, and the great commission calls us to reach out to tell all nations about Him. Strive to become intentional.

Most often ‘narrow-minded’ people are associated with negative connotations. But within context of the spiritual, it is actually what Christ calls us to be when it comes to following Him. To value Him more than anything else, especially ourselves.

There is a parallel truth when it comes to both the natural and spiritual. The bible teaches us that whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and reap generously when sowing generously. In both contexts, fruits are made from what is planted.

Is your life’s investment for the here and now? Or in forever and eternal? God constantly reminds us that our surrender to Him is our investment to Him. That whoever finds their life will lose it and whoever lives for His name’s sake will find it.
