One Less Die

“ The prospectors take a trip into town… after an explosive defeat. Wounds are being tended, drunk dancing is had, newcomers are met, and the mystery of the tunnels shall be investigated...” (Apologies for the immense amount of cross-talk in this game, we were very rowdy and “less” experienced at recording back then.)

A long time ago, in 2013… before the Podcast, there were simply game recordings. Back then, a bunch of dumb 20 somethings had a dream, to run a darker take on Pokemon in a homebrewed hacked system, these are their silly adventures…

Poketopia 1911 “Pokemon Prospectors”

" It’s 1911 and a new gold rush has popped up in northern British Columbia. Gold and other precious metals, along with rumored claims of stranger artifacts of something long forgotten lie in the earth and stone of the pine carpeted coastal region near Anyox, a booming mining town. Folks from all over and their Pokemon are heading to the area  to stake their claim at the untapped potential!... er...riches. What perils await those willing to brave the elements and rivalries abound with their loyal companions at their side?"

“ Our… “heroes?” venture north up the coast of British Columbia, Canada, to stake themselves a claim. One is here for fortunes, one for fame, both are starting a new chapter in life. But Anyox is one of the few bastions of civilization in this region of forested mountains, wild pokemon and lawless and savage folk…”

In honour of "The Legend of Zelda" and it's 40th Anniversary! We bring you an episodic homebrew campaign about several Hero of Courage nepo babies "Sliders-ing" across the inbetween periods of Hyrule Historia and it's various Eras!

Throughout the weaving history of Hyrule, many mysterious and powerful artifacts appear and circulate among Legend. One such item is the Chain of Eras, but it shall be found, not by a singular hero of courage during a time of great cause, as is so often the case. No, it shall come to pass to different sons of the Hero, during times between Legends. Once taken up, it shall bring them together for reasons yet unknown, across time and destiny. They shall be as Links in the Chain.

GM Chris - Minervo (Pirate Hero of Brine from the Era of Wind)

Aaron - Nox (Twili Hero of Ryme from the Era of Twilight)

Dave -  Severn (Zora Hero of Pine from the Era of the Wild)

3 sons of the Hero of Courage, across various Eras in the history of Hyrule, have been shunted together and cast out to the seas of time and destiny for a purpose unknown by a chain like artifact. The place they find themselves currently is bright and dusty, yet shadowed by twilight. What will they do? Where will they go from here? Time will tell.
