This song has not only survived 200+ years, but it is also sung and celebrated every year. You have to ask why? What is it about this song that has made it stand the test of time?

This is why so much emphasis is made about the birth of Jesus as a divine miracle, One who was sinless in nature and totally obedient to Father. It is because of this that He could be on the cross in our place!

We too can shine because of this night, the night of our dear Savior’s birth. We can come before His presence in Worship!

They would place them into a poem format with rhyme and rhythm, suitable for singing at times while still keeping it line by line true to the Psalm. 

Is the gospel written on my heart? Is it ready on my tongue? Do I know that I have peace with God because of the cross? Am I ready to give the gospel of peace to others?

The way that the name of God is seen to be so great - is through his goodness to an undeserving humanity.

We pray with urgency, tenacity, and consistency! He will not always come or answer when we want, but he’s always on time.

We end our prayers with glory to God because that is the purpose of our prayers. We remind ourselves that it is the purpose of our prayers and ultimately our lives!
