Are you trapped in regret, unable to embrace the future because of past mistakes? You don’t have to live that way. There is nothing to be gained by continually reliving your mistakes. God has forgiven you so let them go. Remember the lessons you’ve learned, but put your mistakes behind you and get on with your life.

“Remember not the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you are good, O Lord.”

Lord Jesus, help us to accept Your mercy and grace, and stop living in the past. May we never forget the painful lessons we’ve learned lest we make the same mistakes again, but let us embrace the future believing the best is yet to come. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
