Nothing is more important to a vibrant spiritual life than prayer. What breath is to our body, prayer is to our soul. In prayer we experience fellowship with the Father that nurtures our soul, guidance to direct us, and anointing to accomplish our life’s work. It is the single most important spiritual discipline and the source of our strength. No wonder Jesus said,
“…men ought always to pray, and not to faint…”
Lord Jesus, teach us to pray. Teach us to wait in Your holy presence until we have received strength from on high. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.
