Applying to dental school residencies! In this video I had a conversation with ASDOH D4, Sohaib Ahmad. We spoke about dental school interviews: who they are for, who they aren't for, what it takes, and how to land one! We compared many of the different options and how they compare, what can be gained from them, and they different ways that many of them are structured. Sohaib also speaks about Match and what to do if programs you are interested in participate in Match, and what to do if they don't. A major question many dental students have is what is the difference between a AEGD and a GPR, and Sohaib answered it for us all! ASDOH fourth year externships! In this video I interviewed Saleha who is a current D4 at ASDOH. I asked her to sit down with us and explain how the 4th year at ASDOH is structured and what can be expected from the sites that we travel to across the country! We spoke about his experience as a D1 up until today. His clinical experience was also discussed and how COVID affected it all in the beginning of 2020. We also covered residencies and who should and shouldn't consider them. We also touched on boards as well with his resources and tips!
