Hello and welcome to One Nation, One Mission, One Promise a place where we celebrate our unique and diverse citizenship.  

Every second Sunday in June the National Puerto Day Parade takes over 5th Avenue in New York City and celebrates Puerto Ricans Nationwide.  The parade is sixty-two years old, but this year, as with many other events, COVID-19 hungover the streets of New York leaving only the echos of parades past to fill the streets of New York City.  Well, that was not going to stop the celebrations, the parade transferred to a safe and virtual setting on ABC.  There the spirit of the National Puerto Rican Day parade resided until it returns to 5th Avenue and the airwaves next year.

The Puerto Rican Day parade is the largest demonstration of cultural pride in the nation.  What began in New York City has since grown to events and festivals around the nation.  

Join me as we learn about each other, our gifts, and our contributions.  Let's celebrate our unique and diverse citizenship.  Let's celebrate our race, our skin colors, our genders, our religions.  Let's celebrate the gifts we have given to each other.  Let's celebrate that we are a country of many races and of one race, the human race.  Join the conversation!!!  It is your time :)
