It’s hard for me to imagine that there have been billions of people on the planet since the dawn of time and supposedly no too have ever been exactly the same. Even when folks have twins and doppelgängers there are still slight differences in some feature that has made them unique.
I was thinking about this because recently I got a European mount of a deer I harvested last year back and I was noticing how the antlers on all the deer I’ve harvested are different. I assume if no two people — or even finger prints are the same - no two antlers are the same either.
Unique. The word itself is unique. It comes from the Latin word Unicus meaning - “only, single, sole, alone in its kind.”
How beautiful is that. How amazing that you are unique - a masterpiece labeled 1 of 1. No one has been, is, or ever will be exactly like you.
Your talents will make an impact on someone like no one else could.
Your personality will help someone who is struggling in a way that only your personality could do.
No one can tell you that you don’t matter because no one knows everything you know.
No one can see everything that you see.
Your experience is unique. One of a kind.
Just the way God designed it. Your experience was meant to make a difference in the world.
