Christmas is coming towards us at an alarming pace, so we continue our Deck the Hallmark month with The Princess Switch (2018). Are you a big Vanessa Hudgens fan? If so, you're in luck, as this film features her twice. However, there is a lot to keep you enchanted, even if you aren't. In this episode, Sam and Calum shamelessly lust over Sam Palladio and pick weird holes in a plot that is already flimsy; such as the problems with judging the baking competition. There is a fun intro from some of our podcast friends, so make sure to at least listen to that!

Welcome to our Christmas month, where we kick off with Falling for Christmas (2022). Now, we were very excited when we heard Lindsay Lohan was making her big comeback. We once downloaded the mobile game she "made" and played it all night to avoid doing an essay. Good times. Anyway, we are hyped to be able to start off "Deck the Hallmark" month with a film with her and the guy from Glee that Calum has a soft spot for. Did it disappoint? Hell no it didn't. We had a blast watching this and we had a blast talking about it. This episode is full of giggles AND you get to hear an embarrassing toilet story from Calum. What's not to love?

Today we conclude Nun-vember with Sister Wrath/Nun of That (2008). We have no idea what name it's going by these days, and yeah. We stumbled across a punny poster for the film on Twitter and it was what prompted the whole Nun month. Long story short, thank goodness we didn't start with this one, otherwise, Calum might have lost all faith in Nun-vember. Nun of That has all the puns you could want, but at what cost?

It's actually really funny that he suggested this because anyone who listens knows that he's not usually a fan of child characters. Will Madeline and the other eleven girls be an exception? Spoopy Month is now over and it's time to refresh in preparation for Christmas. So, how do we move on from the scary to the Holy? Nuns. Nuns are the only answer. Welcome to Nun-vember. We kick off our month of nunsense with Sister Act (1992). It's the rainy day lunchtime film that Calum fondly remembers and the nun musical Sam was vaguely aware of; so join us as we reminisce. Also, we're not sure why, but Calum has decided puns are important to include, so watch out for those.

Happy Halloween! We finish up our spoopy ways-to-die month with the eeriest of deaths - that of some well-regarded careers. We are, of course, talking about Cats (2019). It's a batshit crazy adaptation of an already batshit crazy show. This was Calum's fault. Calum decided that we all had to suffer this Halloween. Does singing to death count as a spoopy way to die? Probably. Nothing makes sense and the cat cult doesn't know if musical reincarnation works, so we're gonna say it counts and so should you.

It's on Amazon, but so are we now, and if the choice is between watching a confused murderous bear and listening to us, what would you rather do? We've made it sound more interesting in that one sentence than it actually is, so beware.

We continue our chilling month of spoopy ways to die with Hobo with a Shotgun (2011). The title isn't a winner, but the film is. It is everything we wish Rubber could have been. It had no right to be so good, to the point that we're mad about it. How dare it be so damn entertaining. Our review is less so, but if you manage to comment the keyword that we've hidden in the episode, we will give you a shout-out post! That's worth listening to us ramble about how creative the death in this was, right?

Hello and welcome back to our Spoopy Ways to Die month! This week we watched Rubber (2010), and spoiler, we were disappointed with the spoopy way people died in this film. If you think about a film about a murderous tire, what do you think you're in for? A super awesome gore-fest where you see a gigantic tire squish people? Perhaps you envision a plot where a tire attaches itself to cars and deliberately drives people into things? We get none of these. Instead, we get a vibrating tire exploding people to death and it's not as cool as it sounds. The true horror is found in how they managed to make the murderous tire film boring.
