Sometimes as a Chaplain, sometimes as a first responder, and sometimes, as a funeral service professional, which, off and on, I've been doing since 1988. Time is moving so fast lately. So much to contemplate and act on. Everything is on the table.

It’s 11 days until “election”. Then what? Peace, stability, and balance, or total dystopian nightmare? Position yourself well in life regardless of what’s coming down the pike.

Life with a service dog, tackling a substantial TBI, the ways of the world, and a dislocated shoulder on top of it all. That's enough to fill up nearly an hour in today's update for October. Sometimes, you've just got to find that internal drive and flame, and push on through. At some point, looking back at what, in theory, should have, or most certainly could have, been death, its all about perspective.
