When we are facing difficult circumstances, such as a loved one being sick, unemployment for several months, or the inability to have a child, we start wondering why God will not do what we ask. We might ask God, “Why are you not doing what I’m asking when what I am asking is good?” When we are facing disappointment, the Bible has some encouraging things to say to us.
