    HEALING TOWERS REVIEWS

This movie is a relentless rollercoaster of madness and manipulation, where the lines between the mentally ill and their abusers blur in a chilling dance of despair. It plunges deep into the haunting tragedies of the homeless — souls trapped in battles they can’t win, even as those who claim to help them struggle against forces far darker than they ever imagined. Every twist shatters your expectations; every turn tightens the grip of hopelessness. It’s raw, brutal, and unforgettable.

    Verdict on Healing Towers

The movie follows a detective and a journalist teaming up to investigate the strange goings-on in a hospital. However, they discover a much darker series of events happening in the hospital and must bring an end to the torture.

    Best Parts

The movie uses an interesting concept of the victims being selected and how a doctor believes they are helping others. It shows how easily it can go on in secret and how people can become victims.

    Worst Parts

It wants to push things to the extreme but ends up holding things back. There seems to be a sub-plot happening in the same, which is far darker but doesn’t get enough attention. If we had focused solely on the doctor’s experiments, we could see are far darker story. The performances are not the strongest either, as it never feels as intense as the presented scenes.

Final Thoughts –Healing Towers takes a disturbing but very predictable walk into extreme therapy. (2 STARS)

Detective Joe is a loving father who will stop at nothing to find his missing daughter. After a long and grueling search, he discovers a link to Healing Towers, a psychiatric facility located in a historic 1920's building close to downtown Los Angeles. Dr. Mark Healer, the founder of Healing Towers, is a well-known and respected psychiatrist who has gained global celebrity status due to his unconventional treatment methods. He claims to have developed a unique approach that helps the mentally unstable homeless population, but his philanthropic work is only a front for his psychotic and murderous desires. Mark's treatment method involves manipulating his patients' hallucinations and forcing them to act out their darkest fantasies on carefully selected victims. He has convinced his patients that the violent murders they commit are only a dream and not reality, making them more susceptible to his twisted therapy. These horrific crimes go undetected for a decade, but everything changes when Darlene, a young social worker, goes missing, and her best friend Julia links her disappearance to Healing Towers. Julia's investigation leads her to Detective Joe, and together they start to unravel the sickening truth behind Healing Towers. They soon find themselves in a race against time as they try to stop Mark's sadistic program and save themselves from becoming its next victims.

  • THIS IS TOM JONES ... WELL NOT EXACTLY, IT'S STEVE MCCOY

    STEVE MCCOY

    "THIS IS TOM JONES"
    'THE TRIBUTE'

Steve McCoy is known as the world’s greatest Tom Jones impersonator. There was an award winning novel written based on his life, WHO KILLED “TOM JONES” by Gale Martin.

Steve has performed as Tom Jones in theaters and nightclubs throughout the United States as well as the world; in cities such as Berlin, Beirut, Moscow, Stockholm, and London. He’s also been featured in various commercials and on the A&E television documentary “Lost in Las Vegas”.

Constantly mistaken for the man from Wales, Steve’s resemblance to Tom Jones is uncanny. However, Steve is much more than just a look-a-like. His attention to detail is unmatched. The hip swivels, the mannerisms, the accent, the antics, and especially his voice are all synonymous with Tom Jones.

This HIGH ENERGY show is backed by a 7 piece orchestra, 4 to 6 beautiful dancers and can be tailored to fit most any budget. Steve always brings audiences to their feet with his charm, enthusiasm and class that only he possesses.

Recently, Tom Jones personally brought Steve up to the stage while performing in Las Vegas and introduced him by saying “He’s the best I’ve ever seen…he does me better than me!” High praise indeed!

  • The Shroud of Turin Night II

    The Shroud of Turin

The Shroud of Turin is a linen cloth with an image of a crucified man, believed by many to be the burial cloth of Jesus of Nazareth. The cloth, currently housed in the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Turin, Italy, has been a subject of intense debate and scientific study for centuries.

    Here's a more detailed look:
    What it is:
      • A linen cloth measuring approximately 14 feet long and 3 feet 7 inches wide.
      •
      • It bears a faint, brownish image of a man who appears to have been tortured and crucified.
      •
        • The image is believed to be the result of a process that is still not fully understood, and is not the product of a painting, drawing, or scorch.
        •
          • The image is considered to be three-dimensional when evaluated with a VP-8 scanner, according to Catholic Answers.
          •
            History and Significance:
            • The shroud first appeared in historical records in the 1350s and has been kept in Turin since 1578.
            •
              • Many Christians consider it to be a holy relic and a symbol of Jesus's crucifixion and resurrection.
              •
                • The shroud has been the subject of numerous scientific studies, including radiocarbon dating, which has yielded conflicting results and fueled the debate about its authenticity.
                •
                  Scientific Studies and Debates:

                  • Radiocarbon Dating:
A 1988 radiocarbon dating test indicated that the shroud was likely from the medieval period, not the time of Jesus. However, this result has been disputed, and new dating analysis suggests that the shroud may actually date back to the time of Jesus.

                    • Bloodstains:
Reddish-brown stains on the cloth are believed to be blood, and tests have shown that they contain human DNA.

                      • Image Formation:
The process by which the image was created is still not fully understood, but it is generally agreed that it is not the result of a painting or drawing.

                        • Ongoing Research:
Scientists continue to study the shroud, looking for new evidence to help understand its origins and the nature of the image.

                          Controversy:
                          • Authenticity:
The shroud's authenticity remains a major point of debate, with many believing it to be a medieval forgery.

                            • Scientific Evidence:
While some scientific evidence supports the idea that the shroud is genuine, other evidence suggests it is a forgery.

                              • Theological Significance:
For many Christians, the shroud holds immense theological significance, and its authenticity is a matter of faith.
