Her Why:
Restorative is more than just physiotherapy. It started off with a vision to slow down and take more time for people and to meet people where they are at. I’ve worked for many years in a busy sports practice where you see a patient every 15 minutes. I understand and get the business/ healthcare model of why it exists and why it did exist for me. I learned a lot and was able to really practice my craft. After 13 years of that style of practice, I think I was looking for something more. I was lucky (along with a lot of hard work, support, and determination) to have had the opportunity to create a space that is built on connection and time, and you feel it as soon as you walk through the Restorative doors.
Like anything else, I feel physiotherapy should evolve. What that looked like for me was creating a team that was built on service, knowledge, innovation, and having practitioners who were living their passion and working their passion. This is what they were meant to do. If you’ve met our team, you will know they are all like minded and are driven to help and support people in finding true wealth in health- something we call the Restorative Lifestyle. Placing the importance on moving daily, getting good nutrition, and taking care of yourself so you can live your healthiest life on a physical, mental and emotional level until it becomes a daily practice. Our goal is to empower people to build the best foundation to overall health they could have by mastering the basics.
