In Luke 10:38–42, we learn that Mary's decision to sit at Jesus' feet wasn't just about pausing from busyness, it was an intentional act of discipleship, choosing purpose, inheritance, and the lasting treasure of God's Word. The story reveals how easily our minds can be troubled by distractions and concerns that pull us away from what really matters. Ultimately, we are called to invest in the irreplaceable 5% the few things in life that only we can do which requires clarity, conviction, and trust in God to live with purpose.
