Christy catches up with singer songwriter Christine Collister and the Director of the Manx Voices choir, Angela Stewart, about a concert celebrating Christmas music from across the British Isles.

It's on Friday evening (15th Dec) at St George's in Douglas, tickets are £10 and monies are going to the Forget Me Not charity - one that is close to Christine's heart. 

For 12 months, a team of dedicated volunteers have been building something very special in Laxey - a 'Skiff' which will be launched in to Laxey bay this Saturday, December 2nd at 3pm. It's a project that has really brought the community together. Al Kneen tells us more.

Christy chats with Danielle Watterson and her 14 yr old son Mian, who is Type 1 Diabetic. They both recently visited Tynwald along with Natasha Parry from Diabetes Isle of Man - our latest One2Three charity of the week - to campaign for new technology to be made available to others with diabetes on the Island, to make their and their families’ lives easier.

Both are involved with organising the upcoming POSITIVE HEALTH AND WELLBEING CONFERENCE at The Best Western Palace Hotel on November 30th 

Lasting friendships and even new relationships have formed through the Manx Retirement Association and members find their diaries are busier than ever! The group offers over 300 activities a month to members, including trips off Island.

It's World Poetry Day, so we celebrated on One2Three by having a lovely literary chat (and a healthy dose of nonsense) with our pal Howard Caine.
