1.) Read Matthew 6:9-13 and make a list or highlight how Jesus teaches us to pray!

2.) Read James 1:5-8, and Matthew 21:17-22, what do these scriptures teach us is a key component in our prayers lives?

3.) Read Ephesians 6:17-18, and Jude 17-20, what do These scriptures teach us is another key component in our prayer lives?

4.) Set up a purposed, quiet time of prayer this week and implement some or all of these components of prayer into your time and see how your walk with God is deepened!

1.) Read these passages and describe what reason they give us for Why We Pray.  It might be helpful to think about the 5 reasons that were listed in the teaching.

1.) Make of list of God’s Will for each one of us as He has revealed it in His Word.

2.) What else is God’s Will for us according to these scriptures?

3.) Take an inventory of your life and ask God to reveal if there is an area where you are struggling to follow His express Will for your life.  Pray that He will help you to do His Will!
