Jesus makes it clear: If you want to be first in His Kingdom, put others first and become the servant to all.
We learned from our last One Verse, 2 Corinthians 1:3, that our God is the God of all Comfort and the Father of Compassion. Today, we look at the very next verse that continues this thought. 2 Corinthians 1:4 tells us that God has given us comfort, not just for ourselves, but so that we can pass along that comfort and compassion to others who are hurting.
If you are facing trouble today, turn to God. He is listening.
You are God's work of art, and He has created a purpose and a plan for your life.
Will God give you more than you can handle? Yes. But He will never allow you to be tempted more than you can bear, and there is a BIG difference between the two!
"Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is. Hate evil, love good; maintain justice in the courts. Perhaps the Lord God Almighty will have mercy on the remnant of Joseph." -Amos 5:14-15
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." -John 13:34-35
"In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." -Proverbs 3:6
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." -John 14:27
