I came, I saw, I podcasted.
The Feed? It shrugged. After 19 episodes of One vs. The Feed, I’m hitting pause. This podcast started as more than just a creative outlet. After two failed spine surgeries and being forced out of work, I needed something to stay sharp to stay sane. The days got long, the silence got louder, and I figured: why not put my voice to use in a different way? So I did. I took my background in radio, my love for music history, and my need to build something and made this show. I compared legends of the past to what we scroll through today. I mixed storytelling with commentary. I scripted, voiced, produced, and promoted every episode from the ground up. The work wasn’t the problem. I enjoyed it.
But the truth is, the audience just never showed up. That’s not a complaint it’s just the reality. These days, good content can still get buried. And shouting into the digital wind gets old, especially when you’ve got limited time and energy to give. So I’m stepping back. Not with regret. Not with drama. Just calling it like it is. I’m proud of the episodes. I stand by the effort. And maybe down the road, I’ll fire the mic back up maybe with something different, maybe right back here. If you listened, thanks. If you didn’t, no worries the archive’s still there. Sometimes the Feed wins. And that’s fine. I just needed to know I could still create.
Mission accomplished.
