I woke up with less faith in the current state of humanity than ever because Iowa showed us the great lengths people will go to ensure their failure and after spending a day listening to fools cry about Shakira & JLo. (Some mic issues throughout. My bad, I was too pissed to notice)

Basketball is beginning it’s recovery....The office coffee follies continue...waiting to benefit from the coronavirus...don’t be fooled, Mike Bloomberg is not like us.

Last night on TNT, the NBA crew pulled together for an on screen wake for the late Kobe Bryant. Aside from some road rage, I stick mainly to recounting this heartbreaking hour of TV.

Continuing the impossible task of putting the Kobe Bryant tragedy into words. Words on death & loss. Wrapping my mind around his reach and impact. A few words on motivation, drive, excellence, the pursuit of greatness & facing failure. (Note: I used the word ‘quasi’ incorrectly in this episode)

A subpar attempt to talk about a tragedy that defies words. In no way could I do the sudden deaths of Kobe & Gianna Bryant the justice they deserve or even begin to make sense of it but we get through somehow & hopefully take a few lessons from lives ended too soon.
